To supplement the work children are doing at home as guided by their own teachers, check out RTE's Home School Hub.  The ‘virtual classroom’ airs on RTE2 from 11am to 12pm.  Later on in the day, RTE Home School Extra will air as a catch-up programme at 4.15pm.

Great to see the whole country pulling together to make sure our children don't miss out during this challenging time.

One of the best online resources we use in the school is Twinkl, and they have put together some excellent School Closure Packs for parents of children from Junior Infants right through to 6th class.

To access, simply go to www.twinkl.ie, click JOIN, giving your own email address and the code IRLTWINKLHELPS

Once you are logged in, go to RoI Resources and you will see the School Closure Packs for each class level

Thanks to the Mayo News who featured our in-house election, which was run by the children of 6th class.  The pupils of 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes all got to vote using realistic ballot papers.  Check out the full story...

If you are interested in Irish Summer Courses, there are some courses taking place in Castlebar, Glenamaddy and Ballina in June and July, which are open to children of 11 years of age and older

Our team of Cillian, Liam, Christopher and Ruairi enjoyed themselves at yesterday's Sports Quiz in Fahy.  We didn't bring home any medals this time, but the boys represented us with great flair and good humour!
