All books are available to purchase from local bookshops including McLoughlin's Westport, Eason's Castlebar and Castle Books, Castlebar. A copy of all book lists will be made available to these bookshops NEXT WEEK for reference.

To supplement the work children are doing at home as guided by their own teachers, check out RTE's Home School Hub. The ‘virtual classroom’ airs on RTE2 from 11am to 12pm. Later on in the day, RTE Home School Extra will air as a catch-up programme at 4.15pm.

Patch the dog came in with his owner Sinéad who is a local vet. The children were all so gentle with him and in the end he didn’t want to go! Sinéad talked to us about being a vet and how she looks after sick animals. Junior infants had the opportunity to look at her real stethoscope and listen to Patch’s heart beat.
