To supplement the work children are doing at home as guided by their own teachers, check out RTE's Home School Hub.  The ‘virtual classroom’ airs on RTE2 from 11am to 12pm.  Later on in the day, RTE Home School Extra will air as a catch-up programme at 4.15pm.

Although it might be hard right now to imagine life returning to normal, this may give you some re-assurance, as you can now place your orders(s) for school lunches for your child(ren) for the final term of the 2019/2020 school year.  

Orders should be placed by 10th April 2020 and those submitted by that time will commence on the first day we return to school in the new term.

As announced today by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, the school closure period has now been extended for a further three weeks from 29 March to 19 April, as part of the new Covid-19 restrictions.

One of the best online resources we use in the school is Twinkl, and they have put together some excellent School Closure Packs for parents of children from Junior Infants right through to 6th class.

To access, simply go to www.twinkl.ie, click JOIN, giving your own email address and the code IRLTWINKLHELPS
