Newport NS were invited to represent Co. Mayo at the Stemtacular event in Leitrim on Wednesday 25th February 2026.
4th class worked hard for many weeks on their projects and spoke very well to all the judges who visited their stands.
The children really enjoyed the Discovery Zone and the magic show by Joe the Magician.
In the end only one of our 6 projects won a prize - The Encirc Biodiversity Award for The Bird Feeding Machine.
We were all delighted for them. All the children did their school, community and county proud.
