Free tree for every pupil!

We were delighted to hear that our application for a free native Irish woodland tree for every pupil in the school has been successful

The project is being run by the National Federation of Group Waters schemes, in partnerships with Lawpro, Mayo County Council and Irish Water.

Each child will receive:

  1. A native Irish Woodland tree (either a Birch or Hazel)

  2. A leaflet on Biodiversity in their garden

  3. A wheelie bin sticker

  4. Instructions on how to plant the tree (you can also download it below)

  5. A questionnaire (which the children should complete and return to the school)

  6. A certificate to reward them for taking part in the programme
