Swifts in Newport NS?

Every year at the start of May, we switch on our loop recording of swift chicks chattering. The speaker is inside our swift birdboxes and helps to attract new swift couples to come and make their home and raise their chicks there each year. The sounds are left playing until the end of August.

There are two cameras in there also, one at each end of the terrace of 6 boxes, and that is connected to our TV screen in the hallway, so all the children can keep their eyes open for swifts and possible chicks between May and the start of the summer holidays. As you can see, no-one has moved in yet, so watch this space!
