Concert for Ukraine

Newport NS Gospel Choir, which consists of the pupils of 3rd, 4th and 5th classes, has been invited to perform at the upcoming evening of choral entertainment 'Ode to Joy' which will take place on Thursday 9th June.

Our choir will perform alongside other choirs, including the Westport Childrens Choir, the Westport Youth Choir, Ukrainian musicians and a renowned visiting German choir 'Neuer Kammerchor Heidenheim'

Date: Thursday 9th June

Time: 7pm

Venue: St. Patrick Church Newport

Tickets: €10 (at the door)

The concert is in aid of Ukraine, and funds will be distributed by Fr. Tod Nolan PP

We are really looking forward to the children being able to sing again as a group, and enjoy being part of this choral experience.
