We received this lovely letter and video from the Moran family in San Francisco who were looking after Flat Stanley...

Dear First Class,

Sorry Flat Stanley is late returning to Newport, he has been spending his time in San Francisco with the Moran Family who are also from Mayo! Flat Stanley had a great time he didn't want to leave!

San Francisco is in Northern California surrounded by the Pacific Ocean & San Francisco Bay. It's famous for the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, Cable Cars and colorful Victorian homes! In the bay sits Alcatraz Island, a notorious former prison!!

We hope you enjoy the short movie we made for you, Stanley will be arriving back in class very soon with some treats for you all.
