Hailey's a Winner!

Hailey in Ms McLoughlin's class is a deserving winner in the recent Clew Bay Writing Competition.

Open to children living in Mayo, aged 9-12 years, this writing contest was a joint effort of Mayo Sailing Club (Rosmoney), Books@One (Louisburgh) and The Mayo News (Westport). The assignment was to create a short story, poem, or a short graphic story using drawing or photographs. The central theme was Clew Bay, and as you can read from Hailey's story, she made the most of that theme with her wonderful story entitled 'The Secrets that Lie Beneath Clew Bay'.

Well done Hailey - we are all very proud of you in Newport !
