Art Competition
closing date: THURSDAY 21 DECEMBER
Newport Tidy Towns have commissioned local artist Manuel Santiago to design a large mural for the playground. They would like to incorporate designs made by local children, on the themes of ‘underwater’ or ‘dark skies’.
The winning designs will be enlarged by Manuel and transferred to panels which will then be erected in the playground at Meddlicott Street
Guidelines:
Designs should be on A4 paper (portrait or landscape)
Put your full name and class/teacher on the back
Entries can be given to Fiona in the office, who will pass on to Tidy Towns
Themes are 1) underwater or 2) Mayo’s dark skies
All children in the school are welcome to enter
Closing date is Thursday 21 December
There will be prizes for the winning entries
