Pride in Our Past Pupils

Our wonderful past pupils continue to make us glow with pride in Newport NS. On March 26th, the Sacred Heart School U-16 Gaelic team will compete against Loreto College Cavan in the All-Ireland Post Primary Schools Finals at 12pm at Curry GAA pitch. On Tuesday March 22nd, the team captain, Ava Kelly, travelled to Croke Park for the LGFA official media day. Ava participated in a photoshoot and an interview. Ava is joined on the team by no fewer than eight other Burrishoole girls and past pupils of Newport NS. The team includes Ava Kelly, Eleana Chambers, Rachel Knox, Carla Palasz, Ava Palasz, Alana McDonnell, Grace McDonnell, Hannah Sheehy and Aoibheann Chambers as well as being expertly coached by Clodagh McManamon. Well done, girls! We'll be rooting for you!
