School Transport refunds

SCHOOL TRANSPORT REFUNDS 🔹Families who paid a fee for school transport in 2019/20 will receive a refund for the unused portion following the public health measure of closing schools to prevent the spread of Covid19. 🔹Bus Éireann is managing the refund process. The amount of refund due is based on the number of standard school days missed, and the original fee paid. 🔹A small number of people who paid fees in February will receive smaller refunds pro rata to their contribution. 🔹You will receive an email from Bus Éireann if you are eligible for a refund. The refund will be automatically made to the bank card you used to make the payment, or by cheque if you did not use a card. You

Online payments

Once again, we offer the option of paying your school bills securely online via Aladdin Connect. Although the annual school supplies bill is not due until September, many of you like to pay your bills early so we have set up payments for those who wish to do so. Some things to note: 1. If your total bill amount is greater than €80 - you should still ONLY PAY €80 as this is the maximum amount we expect families to pay. To do this, simply pick an amount for each child that totals €80 (eg €40 for 1st child, €30 for second child and €10 for third child). Your bill will then be marked by the school secretary as fully paid 2. You can also choose to pay in instalments - simply put in the amount

First Holy Communion

Fr Tod and Mr Gallagher, who prepared the children for this sacrament, are working very hard to put the necessary protocols in place to enable First Communion to be celebrated in Newport. We are delighted that Fr Tod has arranged for us to celebrate First Holy Communion on Saturday August 22nd. We are constrained by numbers and so Fr Tod has kindly arranged to host two ceremonies. With the Covid 19 restrictions we are sadly unable to have the Camp experience of other times. We are however going to have lots of fun and make many wonderful memories this Summer.
