It's Halloween!
What a day! The children's costumes looked fantastic, and at assembly, we got to meet seven of the players on the Burrishoole Ladies football club and congratulated them on becoming Mayo Champions! As five of them are past pupils, they were a great inspiration to our sports mad pupils.


Craft Day with the PA

5th Class visit Ballycroy
Ms O'Malleys class had a great day in Ballycroy Visitor Centre and Claggan Boardwalk with their Head Guide Michael Chambers on Wednesday, and learned so much about our local biodiversity.


October in Senior Infants

Friday for Halloween
On FRIDAY... Children are welcome to dress in HALLOWEEN COSTUMES, and bring their green and white flags if they have any. We ask that you focus on FUN costumes - nothing too scary or war-like. Also...
As not all of our pupils may have access to costumes, parents are welcome to drop any spare costumes in to our drop-off box in reception tomorrow or Thursday. Thank you!


Play for a Day Drawing Competition
We received the following from PortWest... Just a reminder with midterm looming of our Play for a Day Drawing Competition for the Schools of Mayo. For a chance to win a signed Mayo Jersey, all students need to do is Draw a picture telling us ‘What it means to be from Mayo’. Historical Re-Enactment UPDATE
